Gloss (Xiang Po) is a superhero appearing in media published by DC Comics. She first appeared in Millennium #2 (January 1988), and was created by Steve Englehart and Joe Staton.[1]
Fictional character biography
[edit]Gloss is a Chinese member of the New Guardians and a successor to the Guardians of the Universe, who gave her the ability to draw energy from ley lines.[1]
In One Year Later, Gloss joins the Global Guardians before being killed by Prometheus.[2][3]
Following the reboot of the DC Universe with The New 52, Gloss is resurrected and joins the Great Twenty, China's team of superheroes.[4]
Powers and abilities
[edit]Gloss is connected to the Ley Lines, which gives her superhuman strength and durability, immortality, and the ability to manipulate the earth.
